The actual name of the model is the Speedtimer Solar Chronograph. It was released in conjunction with the Seiko Prospex Speedtimer mechanical chronograph which is large and thick and starts at USD 3000, the Solar model we have here retails for a little more attainable USD675. Let's check it out!
We have a watch here that stems from a beautiful harbour city on the westcoast of Sweden which is home to over 20,000 sailboats with at least as many sailors that may or may not go on raiding trips to Northumbria, so it’s probably not surprising that the watch looks a little, to me anyway, like a classic marine compass.
